ArcStar Utility Scale Project Receives Funding Commitment
Diablo Grande Ranch and Resort Community to be the site of 53 Megawatt Solar Project .
Stanislaus County, California, October 2010 - ArcStar Energy client World International, owner of the 33,000 acre Diablo Grande Ranch and Resort Community in Northern California has executed an agreement to jointly finance and build Phase 1 of the 53 Megawatt Diablo Grande solar project. Under the agreement, World and partner Solar Power Partners will jointly fund and build 13 Megawatts of utility-scale solar planned for Phase 1 of the project. The agreement also envisions joint development of the 40MW Phase 2 project subject to completion of final feasibility studies. Solar Power Partners, located in San Francisco, is a leader and pioneer in the financing and development of commercial and utility solar projects in North America. ArcStar has been the principal energy development advisor to the property owner and developer since the inception of the project.
